USDF Recognized Schooling Shows
The USDF Regional Schooling Show Awards Program offers regional recognition to USDF Group Members, competing in non-USEF-licensed/non-USDF-recognized competitions. All members of EIDEA are eligible to compete in these shows by following the program rules.
There are four award divisions, including open, junior/young rider, adult amateur and non-professional will be recognized per region. It is important to understand the different categories available.

Scores used are from December 1st through November 30th.

There are four categories: Open, Jr/YR, AA, Non-Professional

Membership requirements: Rider must have a USDF Group Membership that is recorded by the Group Member Organization (GMO). Owner must have at least a USDF non-member number. Horse must have at least a USDF Horse Identification Number. All three must be complete at the time the scores are earned.

Nomination requirements: Rider must submit a one-time yearly online nomination and $35 nomination fee for each horse/rider combination no later than 14 days after the last day of the first competition.

Seven levels will be recognized per division: Introductory (not available to the Open division), Training, First, Second, Third, Fourth, and FEI (includes combination of Prix St. Georges, Intermediate I, Intermediate II and Grand Prix scores).

Introductory includes a minimum of five scores, from three different judges, from three different competitions.

Training - Fourth includes a minimum of five scores, from three different judges, from three different competitions. Levels may not be combined to meet requirements. At least one score must be earned from the highest test of the level.

FEI includes a minimum of four scores, from three different judges, from three different competitions. Levels may be combined to meet requirements.

Eventing riders may also qualify for these utilizing the test equivalencies as outlined USDF Member Guide. For example: Eventing Beginner Novice and Novice tests are equivalent to Training Level, Eventing Training Level, Modified Level, and Preliminary Level tests are equivalent to First Level.
